Be Mine (or His)!

The romance of Valentine’s Day may be last week’s news – the chocolate gone and the flowers beginning to wilt – but there’s still time to fall for a hot soldier with a heart of gold!

What reviewers are saying about The Hero was Handsome:

Lyla was funny and sexy and Tate was perfect! He was so real and sweet – seductive and witty. The chemistry between them was undeniable and I thoroughly enjoyed their banter and their story!” ~Helen S, Goodreads Reviewer

I loved this book! The author combines romance and mystery, so the story is gripping and the relationship is luscious…Such a great story!” ~Emily B, Amazon Reviewer

If you haven’t read it yet, you can find the paperback at your favorite online retailer, or download a digital copy from Amazon’s Kindle store. All the store links are available HERE and you can add it to your Goodreads TBR HERE.

For a few more months, you can also read The Hero was Handsome for free in Kindle Unlimited, but plan accordingly – the whole Triple Threat series will be dropping out of KU later this spring to allow for some different marketing. I’m not yet sure whether it will be going back in by this summer or not. I’ll keep you posted.

So what’s next, you ask? Three things!

I’m working on the Triple Threat box set, which will include a bonus scene from Hero, as well as an all-new short story about characters from the Triple Threat books called The Masquerade was Magic (yes, it has a Halloween theme!). Look for this in digital format later this fall.

Next, Finding Home, the first book in the Second Chances series, is undergoing a comprehensive overhaul. This is in part to clean up some lingering editing and story line issues (tying it into the rest of the series better), but also in preparation for a series-wide update. I’m really excited about these improvements, but I don’t have a firm timeline for their completion at this time. Stay tuned. And don’t worry – the first edition of Finding Home will stay on sale (for free or 99 cents at most retailers) right up until the second edition is ready to go.

Finally, I’ve begun work on my new romantic suspense series, Black Watch! This series is hinted at in the final pages of The Hero was Handsome, and you are going to love meeting these guys as much as I’m loving bringing them to life. As soon as I have a title and release date for the first book, I promise you’ll be the first to know.

That’s it for February! Check back in next month, when I’m sure I’ll have thoughts about my birthday, spring in general, and all the romance novels I’ve been devouring. If you’ve read a great one lately, let me know in the comments and we can chat about it!
