September has blown through here fast, bringing buckets and buckets of rain and the quiet start of autumn. Not that it feels like fall yet – so far it’s still as hot and humid as summer (and I’m sooo over it).
Speaking of quiet, though…can you hear that? The sweet sound of absolutely no kids in my house? Yeah. Me, too. It’s glorious! I love those children dearly, but I am so happy they’re back in school. It means that I’m back in my routine, and working on all kinds of new things for you guys!
What does that mean, exactly? Well, last month I let you know about the brand-new prequel story I was writing for the Second Chances series. I’m happy to report that it’s done now, and with my editor. I loved checking in with our girls at a time before their stories got started – and I know you will enjoy it, too! The story is called “Girls Night Out,” and it will be available only to those people who have signed up for my Reader’s List. Haven’t had a chance to sign up yet? No worries. You still have a chance to do so, before I send out the links next month.
Next month is bringing some cover reveals, too! I’ve bundled the Second Chances books into two amazing new box sets for the holidays – one for the Flynn sisters titles, and one for the O’Connell titles. These will be available in ebook only, and will go up for preorder in November at a discounted price. Keep checking the site in the weeks to come, for all the juicy details.
Last, but definitely not least: I’ve started work on a sexy new trilogy! Woohoo! I’ll be releasing it in 2019. These books are going to be exactly the kind of steamy, swoony, emotional romances you can’t get enough of, and I am so excited with the way they are going so far! Hang onto your seats, peeps. These men are HOT. As the writing progresses, you can bet I’ll be dropping hints on social media like Instagram and Pinterest, so look out for them and let me know what you think.
With that, I’m going to sign off for September. I hope you, too, are experiencing the joy of kids in school, cooler weather, and pumpkin spice in alllll the foods – not to mention some romance to keep you warm.
