I always think of August as the end of summer, even though here in Maryland our warm weather will last for another month, at least. Maybe it’s because the kids are preparing to return to school, or because most of our summer trips and vacations are all done – but I’m already feeling the urge to crack down on lazy days (and snacking – my God, so much snacking) and start getting some more accomplished.
Good thing there are still so many great beach reads out there to tackle! One of my favorites, of course, is my newest release: Forever and a Day. I’ve told you a little bit about it in my last few posts.
I’m so excited for you to read this sexy and emotional conclusion to the Second Chances Series. It features Dimitri, Mina’s tortured-but-protective pal from Finding Forever – remember him? This single dad is equals parts hunky and heartbreaking, and when he unexpectedly falls for his little girl’s teacher, he falls hard.
Thank goodness Miss Emily is more than up to the challenge. She’s sweet and compassionate, with just enough spine to keep Dimitri in line. Not that she was making much progress resisting him – even the shadows of a recent bad breakup couldn’t stand up to the handsome dad’s allure.
