It’s August, and for me that always brings mixed feelings.

Summer is wrapping up, and with it, all the sleeping in, lazy days at the pool and beach, and vacation eating. Sighhhh. I’ll miss those.

This summer was an especially fun one, though: I released the Lost in Love novella, with its companion short story Lucky in Love, in July – and early readers are loving it! If you’ve had a chance to read it, don’t forget to leave a review online.

I also just returned from two weeks at the beach in the lovely Tar Heel State, and it was a special treat to work on my new novel while enjoying its spectacular setting. Finding a Husband is book three in the Second Chances series, and I know you will love reading about how Molly and Jake earn their HEA.

August isn’t only about endings, though – it’s also loaded with a sense of anticipation. School starts next month, and with it, a return to normal habits and routines. For me, that means a lot more writing time on Finding a Husband. For you, it means a lot more time to read about the strong women that anchor the Second Chances series, and the swoony men that love them. Enjoy!
