Yeah, so…to say the “bloom is off the rose” at this point is kind of an understatement, amiright? Forget craft projects and loungewear. As our global nightmare grinds on and on, I find that my concentration is shot, my temper is short, and I’m seesawing between despair and a certain deranged kind of giddiness with increasing regularity. I do not think I am alone in this. We’re all feeling a little nuts.

To that end, I can only say how impressed I am that so many of my romance writing peers are still managing to compose and release new books right now! Shout out, in particular, to those indie authors who are shouldering the entire load themselves, from inception to marketing and everything in between. I strongly encourage you to support these authors – and all the other small businesses in your locality – as much as you can right now.

In Gallant Fox Press news, I made the difficult decision to take Finding Home off sale temporarily while I complete my revision of it. The deeper I get into this project, the more comprehensive the overhaul is becoming, and I want to make sure you’re able to read the best version of this story I can give you.

As well, the entire Triple Threat trilogy has dropped out of KU for now, so those books can participate in some other marketing opportunities. Never fear, though – I expect to re-enroll them in Kindle Unlimited next month, so you can get right back into the world of Red, Luca and Tate.

I’m continuing work on The Masquerade was Magic, the bonus story I will be including in the Triple Threat box set. I hope to have that on shelves by the end of the year. I may delay this by a month or two, however, since I have now also written *another* story that ties in with Masquerade and the other Triple Threat books. I love it to pieces and want you to read it, but it’s part of a contest this summer, and I may need to wait for the rights to revert to me in order to include it in the box set. If that turns out to be the case, don’t sweat it! The final, complete product will be well worth the wait.

In conclusion, it’s business as usual (which is to say, utterly unusual) here – and I’m fine, you’re fine, we’re all fine…

But hey – at least we still have books.
